Lowering of Union Flags – A Mark of Respect

The Parish Council would like to let residents know that the Union Flags at the War Memorial and the Ex-Servicemen’s Hall in Bloxham have been lowered as a mark of respect for the passing of two highly respected members of our community.
Bernard Lane passed away on Sunday, 31st August 2025 at Seccombe Court, Adderbury.
Bill Richardson passed away on the evening of Wednesday, 10th September 2025 at his home in Bloxham.
Both Bernard and Bill proudly served in the British Army and both were former Presidents of the Bloxham Branch of the Royal British Legion.
We extend our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to their families at this sad time.
